e-Health Sensor Platform

Health Sensors"The e-Health Sensor Shield allows Arduino and Raspberry Pi users to perform biometric and medical applications where body monitoring is needed by using 9 different sensors. This information can be used to monitor in real time the state of a patient or to get sensitive data in order to be subsequently analysed for medical diagnosis. Biometric information gathered can be wirelessly sent using any of the 6 connectivity options available: Wi-Fi, 3G, GPRS, Bluetooth, 802.15.4 and ZigBee depending on the application."

Training Videos

Click on the orange links to view a series of short training videos created by Robert Cole. The work documented in these videos serves as a proof-of-concept for the low-level foundations of Studio Project and provides a step-by-step guide for connecting with eHealth Sensors and reading in data.

Part 1. This getting started video introduces the Arduino platform and provides instructions for setting up the IDE. (10 minutes)

Part 2. This video provides a step by step guide for setting up user libraries in which to store sensor data. (4 minutes)

Part 3. This video provides a visual guide for connecting Arduino, Health Shield, and eHealth sensors. (15 minutes)

Part 4. This video demonstrates the use of the console debugger to observe streaming sensor data and to make programmatic fixes. (2 minutes)
